Have students work with a partner to complete the worksheet on How to Make a Pizza.You may want to go back to page 2 and help students make the connection that sequencing, chronological order, and sequence of events are all synonyms for the same idea.This will reinforce the definition from the previous step. There is a link on the 3rd page of the SMART Notebook file. Watch the BrainPOP with students and have the students take the BrainPOP quiz that follows the movie.Then have the students generate a list of sequence words that they know and write them on chart paper to be hung in the classroom. You may want to have the students write down the definition in their note books. After the students have had a few minutes to write their answer, review what the terms mean by clicking on the purple box. It asks, "What do all of these words mean?" The words are: Chronological Order, Sequence of Events and Sequencing.
